I wrote every day while I was on holiday in Italy but I also took time to I reward myself with a few hours of blissful reading. I didn’t want to read exclusively thrillers, so went for a wide variety – everything from historical to factual, with some romance and general fiction thrown in.

One of the few thrillers that I did read, though, was Close to Home by Cara Hunter. I know many of you will have read this, because it’s been in the Amazon chart for weeks – and I believe it’s still only 99p! But I really enjoyed it.
